Introduction

The Environmental Protection Department (EPD), through the Education Bureau, has invited all primary and secondary schools in Hong Kong to participate in the “We-recycle@School” Activity (“the Activity”) since 1 March 2024. This Activity aims to enhance students’ understanding of waste reduction and recycling and community recycling facilities. Students are also encouraged to actively practise waste separation and recycling with their families in their daily lives. The EPD will provide a series of education and promotion activities, school recycling support and competitions to cultivate green and low-carbon lifestyle in schools.
